Has anyone seen the "Get Me Bodied Video" by Beyonce? Well Kelly has unbelievably straight hair ......

She probably has human hair, but the expensive kind. Some can go up to 600 dollars, and that's the highest quality, I've seen it on people, and it looks amazing, better than anything you can buy in a store, it looks 100% like the person who is wearing it's hair. That's the kind she has probably.

Or you can get hair from different races, like Japanese hair or Indian hair, that is usually straight.

Is it possible to have a patch of kinky hair when i have very straight hair only!!! can it be hormonal! HELP?

that is perfectly normal you have nothing wrong it is just your hairs growth pattern. my husband has super thin hair on the right side of his head and really thick hair on the left. working in hair it is really common

Is it possible to have a patch of kinky hair when i have very straight hair only!!! can it be hormonal! HELP?

you would probably have to seek a hair specialist but in my opinion and my opinion alone is that it could be genetics or a mistake in a gene. Do your best to condition your hair with conditioner. Good luck!

My 6 year old daughter has very thick course straight hair that won't stay styled?

i really don't want to cut herhair. Her hair is to the middle of her back and it has layers already in it she is half hispanic but has no curl or texture to it

My 6 year old daughter has very thick course straight hair that won't stay styled?

most children have the thickest and best kind of hair to deal with. since she is only 6 it is probably more of a maintenance issue than anything. does she cry at the sight of a brush or is she good about letting you brush it? if she's isn't then you need to get a daily leave in detangler. one to try is Biolage Daily Leave In Tonic. it's in a spray bottle (found at most professional salons). after she takes a bath or shower spray it in then use a wide tooth comb (not a brush) start at the ends and underneath to distribute the product thru her hair. if you use a brush when the hair is wet it is more likely to snap and break.

if she is great about letting you comb and brush her hair then you need good shampoo and conditioner. ones to try:

Redken All Soft

Matrix Sleek line

Redken Smooth Down

Biolage Hydrating shampoo and Conditioning Balm

using a flat iron will only damage her otherwise undamaged hair and make it flatter (don't recommend it) plus at 6 that is too much work for you.

if you can learn how to braid her hair (works better when the hair is damp) this will also help because keeping it in the braid until the hair fully dries and then after you take the braid out the hair should be wavy (this should last until you wash her hair again). if you don't know how to braid then go to the nearest Hair Cuttery and the stylist will be happy to teach you how to braid her hair. if you don't live near a Hair Cuttery then your local salon is great too.

one more thing, before you braid her hair you should put one styling product in it (then comb the product thru before braiding) one to try:

Redken Clean Lift gel

its water based so it won't build up on the hair.

also razoring her hair is not a good idea it will only make her coarse hair fuzzy and harder to manage.

hope i've helped and happy holidays

My 6 year old daughter has very thick course straight hair that won't stay styled?

Maybe you can invest in some really good shampoo and a leave in conditioner. Try getting her hair razored. It will make it lighter and easier to manage.

My 6 year old daughter has very thick course straight hair that won't stay styled?

You might want to go see a hairdresser to ask them what they could recommend. You can also braid it when you wash it. Or you can flat iron it with a Maxiglide. I know she's 6 and you may not be ready to flat iron, but definitely contact a hairdresser for recommendations as to what products that could be used for course hair. They are many different brands out there that are specially formulated for thick and course hair. All you need to do is find the right one for your daughter's hair. Don't go using anything that can harm her hair now and in the future, go to a real professional and even more than one, to get good consultations and then try seeing if that can solve your problem.

So cut it off and send it to the kids at the children's cancer hospital. You know some mothers would be delighted to see their babies with hair again.

I swear, some people.

My 6 year old daughter has very thick course straight hair that won't stay styled?

You should have her hair thinned out. This is usually the best solution, as razoring her hair will cause it to frizz further, as it does not leave the hair with clean lines. This may make her hair seem damaged on top of it all... Thinning hair is a process using texturizing shears. Your stylist will thin your daughter's hair out in the mid back region, where you cannot see that she is missing some bulk. I do this for many of my clients, both adult and children. Hope this helps. Good luck!

My 6 year old daughter has very thick course straight hair that won't stay styled?

You can just oull it back in a pnytail, and braid it and stuff like that- if yu keep it braded for a few days, maybe it will be little curly

Is there a good way to get straight hair without the use of straighteners?

I have a long brown hair naturally curly at the ends i like it but would like a change!!

Is there a good way to get straight hair without the use of straighteners?

Why don't you try BAbyliss ?

Is there a good way to get straight hair without the use of straighteners?

Unfortunally, I dont think you will be able to get pin straight hair without using a straightner. I have found that there is this Loreal Hair Straightening Cream at Wal-Mart that works wonderful for about 6 bucks. It protects your hair from heat damage wether it's from straightening your hair or blow drying it. It also helps it go very straight.

Is there a good way to get straight hair without the use of straighteners?

Purchase a straightening lotion. IT'S NOT A PERM. It temporarily straightens your hair(for about a week).

Is there a good way to get straight hair without the use of straighteners?

use good conditioner

Is there a good way to get straight hair without the use of straighteners?

Look, if there was a better way I'd tell you but from my knowings it would have to be naturaly straight. But, be proud of your long brown naturally curly hair. Some day if you are sure you want it straight, you are going to need to straighten it with a straightener.

Is there a good way to get straight hair without the use of straighteners?

orcal_girl's is a spammer. I have just looked at all his answers and they are all spams sending users to another (possible infected) website. I have reported him / her / it. I trust you all do the same.

I do not know what software they are using, but they seem to be answering EVERY question asked. PLEASE, report them and have their account deactivated.

Sorry for invading your question with this post, but I am peed at people not trying to help people and wasting time with that spam SH*T. Sorry again. ;-)

Is there a good way to get straight hair without the use of straighteners?

Nowadays we can do anything with hair. The best way to straighten hair (temporarily) is with a good ceramic flat iron. The best and easiest one to use is the Maxi Glide. It has pins right on the iron like a brush so it will gently pull the hair straight, while it has a steam burst that smooths the hair at the same time. Today's ceramic irons get hot enough as well, and the hair will remain straight under more conditions (humidity) than previous irons. Make sure you use a good silicone product like citre shine spray polisher on the hair before you straighten. Of course as soon as you wet your hair, it will return to it's natural state. You can get the maxi glide at amazon.com.

Is there a good way to get straight hair without the use of straighteners?

I think the only way to get straight hair is to use straighteners. remember they wont mess your hair up if you know how to use em properly. start by useing a heat spray to stop the straighteners from burning your hair up and a good oil treatmant once a week will help. try V05 hot oils there really easy to use and they will help your hair big time if your going to use straighteners

Is there a good way to get straight hair without the use of straighteners?

As long as you don't use the flat iron every day and use heat protectant, using a flat iron, a good one, wont ruin your hair. Plus gets trims every 6-8 weeks. That is what I am doing and its going fine. Leave your hair straight after using a iron for about 3-4 days, shower using a shower cap to keep hair dry) so you dont have to straighten so much.

Or try buying a sleek %26amp; straight shampoo %26amp; conditioner and a staightening balm.

Do u like the "wet to straight" hair straightener?

do u like it if u straighten ur hair wet? what about if u straighten it dry? thanks!

Do u like the "wet to straight" hair straightener?

I hate the wet to dry straightener. It fries your hair and just doesn't work very well.

Do u like the "wet to straight" hair straightener?

Its okay.. I would suggest a better on though. Chrome ones are great I just got a great one it was about $200.

Do u like the "wet to straight" hair straightener?

I don't like it because it's bad for your hair.

Do u like the "wet to straight" hair straightener?

It does work... but it may take longer...

I find that it makes your hair feel wierd

because it isn't good for your hair

My Advice:

Blow Dry your hair a little bit before you start... and dont use

straightening cream. It makes your straightener gooey/

Good Luck 鈾モ櫏

Do u like the "wet to straight" hair straightener?

What's the best way to make straight hair wavy?

My hair is thick and flat. I'm going to a wedding next week and have to do my own waves.

What's the best way to make straight hair wavy?

DevaCurl shampoo, conditioner and styling products are professional salon products formulated specifically to add curl to straight hair.

Below is their website, so you can identify a salon or beauty supply store in your area that carries DevaCurl products.

They are a lot of fun, and leave your hair in great condition.

What's the best way to make straight hair wavy?

buy some sort of scrunching product and put some in your palm the size of a penny and really get it through your hair then tie it up into about three to four individual buns and sleep on it and then in the morning take it out

What's the best way to make straight hair wavy?

get gel or sprunch spray [preferably Aussie Sprunch Spray] and after you shower and your hair is still wet, just spray it in your hair and keep scrunching it in your hand. keep scrunching it in your hands until your hair dries and is wavy, or use a blow dryer and dry it while scrunching it. but just keep scrunching it so it will stay.

What's the best way to make straight hair wavy?

The braiding or scrunching and sleeping in it won't work so well if you're hair is shoulder length, and it is also unpredictable.

Rollars, especially if your hair is straight.

What's the best way to make straight hair wavy?

Do some braids in the night (small ones everywere) and in the morning take them out. You can also use a crimping tool or scrunching tool. good luck

What's the best way to make straight hair wavy?

Wet your hair, apply mousse and wrap it in a bun and leave it that way overnight. In the morning take strands of hair and wrap around a curling iron

What's the best way to make straight hair wavy?

I do this to acheieve the wavy beach hair look often. I love the results. At night when your hair is damp put some curl enhancing mouse or gel in your hair and take 2 inch sections of your hair and twist into little coils. Pin to head. Where a hairnet to secure it. Next morning take down each coil and unravel and turn head upside down and gentley shake.

Other then that I recommend using a larger barell curling iron. Creative curls all over your head, flip head over and shake and lightly spritz with hairspray to keep it in place.

Ta da! :)

What's the best way to make straight hair wavy?

When your hair is wet, put setting lotion on it, then use small-to-average hot curlers all over your head. Once the curlers have cooled, remove them, then run your fingers through your curls, only to separate the strands- be gentle, don't overdo it, and definitely don't comb or brush your hair. Finally, spray your hair with hairspray. The curls will loosen into waves within a few hours.
