Are you African American? from your avatar. I am too and i had relaxer for a wile and then waited for the growth to come up and then did a texturizer. I went to the salon to have it done and it was kinky as ever and horrible. I redid it myself with soft and beautiful texturizer and it was a lot softer. Here is how i do it everyday: i use foaming styling wrap and comb it backwards. i then use a small toothed comb to push the hair level by level to induce larger curls and it looks like how eva pigford has her hair. hers is longer and i cant have anyone style it quite like she does in my small town but i wonder what she uses to keep it in shape. get a perm, curling your hair every day with an iron dries it out too.

Nope. A spiral perm is about the only thing to give you a pretty curl. Otherwise, you're stuck using curl activating products.

You can get a body wave. It is less damaging than a perm. If you do it chemically, as long as you keep your hair hydrated and buy salon products. Your hair will recover and be fine. Curling your hair with an iron everyday is just as damaging in the long run as a perm or body wave will be.

permm but only if you dont have thick hair, otherwise the curls will fall out :/ i speak from xperience curls and thick hair dont mix well
