after you hair is completly brushed out and dry and straight. take a comb and section your hair of grab little secions of your hair and comb it up and it will create naps basicly you can hair spray them to get them to hold, and when you wash your hair next they will come out. if you dont use hair spray in it you should be able to comb them out easily, theres also a think called back comb and its made by big sexy hair you can spray that in and it works really good as well.

I have really flat hair and i recently just tried this: when my hair is still wet i would hairspray parts at the roots and a little bit up and blowdry those parts while holding the hair straight up. After hair is all dry it will seem kind of hard at the roots(where u should have sprayed the hairspray) then take a teasing comb and comb the opposite way u would normally comb your hair. if u tease ur hair at the roots it will give it more body!! try it, it works(for me at least)
