I only look professional in suits, shirt and straight hair. Want to look professional with casual we

I look professional in suits, shirts and especially when I straighten my long hair. My hair is naturally wavy so it is a high maintenance for the look. How can I look still professional with casual wear (Fridays - dress down days)? Some people look so pro with jeans but I don't. Any tips? I am an IT consultant by the way if that helps.

I say it's all in your attitude. IT guys can get away with more, and their attitude screams that. You are a pro, in any outfit. Know it.

if your a guy . . . check out a mens clothing store like Men's Warehouse. I was very happy going there. They have decent prices and will have a consultant discuss different options for different looks. for females, I'm sure there are similar stores where a consultant at the store can help

Hey even the Rappers have figured that one out.....you have to get that preppie golf look going....check out Kanye, Jay Z, and Usher. get that sportjacket and polo workin for ya! When shopping always ask a honey! (lady) But not the one with her lips, eyebrow, and nose pierced! Good luck!

Dark colors tend to read more professional than brights, so pair your jeans with a dark sweater or polo shirt. Adding a sweater or jacket to jeans or khakis also takes them up a notch.

I have wavy hair, too, so I know that hassle. Wearing it either short or long (if you look good with long hair) and using an anti-frizz serum will reduce the 'fro factor.

And professional has a lot more to do with what you know than with how you look. There's no point in wearning a $100 haircut on a $2.00 head.

Don't psych yourself out about suits. Your "suit" on Friday can be a casual jacket or blazer over a designer T and jeans (that's right), or a denim skirt. Pull your gorgeous long wavy hair back like J-Lo. You are over analyzing.
