Ok, so i like have stick straight hair, no kidding, i need to get it to curl, but nothing works?

curlers, sprays, shampoos, nothing works, and i can't afford the professional way to curl it, and perms are off limits with my parents , need serious hair help!

Divide you hair into eighths or so and braid them, securing them with rubber bands. Take a hot shower, keeping your hair away from the water, and stay for at least twenty minutes. The steam naturally curls hair, and it creates nice waves.

For big, bouncy waves, make big braids (not too big! There should at least be eight braids.) For smaller waves, make about twelve or so medium-sized braids. DON'T make the braids teeny, they won't look as natural and pulling all of those rubber bands out adds unnecessary damage to your hair.

Psst...sticking up your hair with gel doesn't look natural. Use gel for a more piecy look or to accentuate a pixie cut.

Eh..darlin, im in the exact same situation. I try a curling iron, and it goes back to being straight in an hour..after 4 hours of curling it..ive tried everything to, and ive come to the conclusion that we are **** out of luck. But I guess we have to think of it this way, there are millions of girls out there who wake up every morning and spend 20 minutes straightening their hair..we never have to do that.

Im a dude, so I have no idea, but my gf said to use hair spray, then use curling iron to curl it to desired curliness (but don't keep heat on too long cuz it will burn), and then when you get a section done, reapply hair spray and keep on going.

I towel dry my hair and use old fashioned curlers (the kind with the spongy middle that clip closed) starting at the top of my head I take small sections and curl them. I use a lot of them because if you put too much hair in it wont curl. Then I go to sleep and in the morning I blast my head with the dryer and then spray each section with hairspray as I unwind each one.
