If your hair is really unruly use align 12 ultra straightening by Redken. It will leave your hair shiny and it will also make the straightening process easy. If it isn't that unruly use straight 05 straightening balm by redken it won't be as strong as the align 12 but if your hair isn't that unruly you should use this one. It will also leave your hair shiny. These products also help protect your hair from some heat that may be applied in the straightening process. I would also use smooth down by redken for shampoo and conditioner. This may cost a little more then department store products but it will make a huge difference in your hair care. It is also a lot more concentrated, so it will last longer then most. Good Luck

First you have to get rid of the excess grease. Try Infusium 23 shampoo AND conditioner, works great. I don't use a comb since it's already straight, but you're welcome to.

Oh and if you have any dandruff get something like H%26amp;S or Selsum Blue. To see if you have any, skake your hair with your hands over a dark background-any falling scales means you do, but it's not the end of the world, just use the anti-dandruff.
