How do i get straight hair when i have REALLY curly hair???

i have really curly hair and i want to see it stright and i tryed a straighting iron but it just doesnt work any tips ?

What kind of straightener do you have? My hair is naturally curly, and the types of curls vary depending on how I let it dry when I get out the shower, but trust me its VERY curly. My wet2straight by Remington gets my hair straight, but it does take a while. I start with the underneath sections of my hair first and then do the rest little by little. I wait until my hair is dry to do it though. The kind of flat iron your using plays a key factor in the effectiveness of straightening and keeping your hair straight. I'm probably going to buy a more expensive straightener, like a CHI, because I've heard very good things about them. I suggest investing in a good flat iron if at all possible.

You can use the new technic with the Japanese style chemical hair straightening. I did it about 2 years ago and all you have to do is get it retouched on the roots every 6 months. Your hair stays straight after you shower or it gets wet and the parts you already got done stay straight for a long time unless you cut it off.
