I have extremely straight hair, but...?

i want to find a way to curl it for school. i see some girls who have their hair kind of curly/wavy with like a wet look, and it's really pretty. so i was just wondering how i could acheive that look.

i really would prefer not to use a curling iron, because the curls just fall once im done when i use one....

also, if you use the word "scrunch" please justify what you mean by that, because i hear plenty of people say that, but i dont reallly know what they mean by it.

after you get out of the shower flip your head upside down and and scrunch (take your hair and like ball it into your hands its kinda hard to explain though)it with gel and mousse and blow dry it upside down and then spray it with hair spray and it should make it wavy

Having straight hair its almost impossible without a curling iron....if you want to attempt the scrunch after you shower, apply a gel and a mousse and flip your head over and scrunch your hair with your fingers then spray it w/ hair spray....it should create some wave

you can only have the "wet" look if your hair is like that naturally, but you can use a curling iron, but after put in this hair spray called freeze and shine by paul mitchel(sorry cant spell) or this hairspary at a beauty supply store called beg sexy hair....i forgot who makes it...but yea.
