I have kind of straight hair but not really I want to scrunch it but..?

whenever i scrunch it never stays, and i have to use a lot of hairspray but that makes my hair feel hard and I don't liek that. I'm trying to get beach waves that look natural and will stay. Any good products?

to make sure my scrunch stays in i use:

1. Herbal essence totally twisted curl scrunching gel

2. just spritz the hairspray to certain parts of your hair not all around.

hope that helped

The curling shampoos, conditioners, and sprays really do work! I was iffy on them myself, thinking it was just a rouse to sell product, but I was pleasantly surprised. I even use the offbrand Suave kind!

Using all 3 is best. When you use the spray at the end, scrunch your hair like normal, but be sure to NOT use high heat when and if you blowdry.

Wide-wave / loose wave Crimpers, and specialised holding spray, that goes on before you curl, and it looks great.

When I scrunch my hair, I use my brother's super hair gel. It makes my hair kinda hard and crunchy, but it stays. And that's what I need because my hair never really cooperates.

what i do is the night before i am going to crunch my hair i take a shower and while it is wet put jel in it and scrunch it... then take it in your fist and put it is a messy bun on the top of your head and sleep... then in the morning take it out and scrunch it a little more...

Garnier Fructis.

I naturally have straight hair and inorder to make it curly/scruncy I brush it out as soon as i wash it and put any type of Mousse in it all over...then i throw it in a bun on top of my head (get dressed, do my makeup) then take it out of the bun and put L'Oreal Springing Curls all over my hair and scrunch it in till it is pretty much soaked. Then use a hair dryer with a diffuser attachment on it and dry it by letting your hair sit in the diffuser for about 10 secs each and go through all your hair until dry. You can always use spray hair gel all over it to make it a little crisper and not so frizzy. :) Hope it works for you too!
